How to Make “Tape Ketan”

Tape ketan is one of the snack food market which many preferred by everyone. This food has a distinctive flavor that is very unique, which is sweet and acid derived from the fermentation which done by the fungus "Saccharomyces cerevisiae". This fungus has the ability to convert carbohydrates (fructose and glucose) into alcohol and carbon dioxide contained in this “tape” that has been cooked. Besides aided by this fungus, the fermentation of “tape” becomes “tape ketan” is also assisted by other microorganisms, namely "Mucor chlamidosporus" and "Endomycopsis fibuligera". This food is included in the family's favorite food which usually served while relaxing. Oke, for friends who want to try making this unique food while relaxing, but could not make it and can not understand how to make it when you browsing in the Internet, pay attention to our explanation very well.
The first, prepared the ingredients and the materials. What are they ?
Ingredients      : - 1 liter of white glutinous rice
  - 2 grain yeast of tape that has been mashed
  - Sugar
Materials         : - Pot
  - Basin
  - Plastic Trays
  - Banana leaves to wrap
  - Toothpick to tie the banana leaves
Steps               :
1.        Wash the glutinous rice with water until completely clean (do 3 times)
2.        After that, soak the glutinous rice in water for 8 hours
3.        Wash the glutinous rice again until clean, then drain the water
4.        Steam the glutinous rice until half cooked then put into basin
5.        Pour 400 ml hot water into basin, then stir until absorb
6.        After that, steam again for 30 minutes or until cooked
7.        And then, put into plastic trays and let it cool
8.        After that, sprinkle with yeast of tape that has been mashed and sugar until equally
9.        Take 3 tablespoons of glutinous then wrap with banana leaves and tie with toothpick
10.    Then put it into basin until 2 days for fermentation
11.    Finally, tape ketan ready to served
Tips                 : Oke guys, we have 3 tips to make your tape ketan become very delicious
1.        If you want to give colour in your tape, do it when you soak the glutinous rice in water for 8 hours
2.        If you want so much water from your “tape”, let fermentation more than 2 days, but less than 3 days
3.        If you want to make sweet your “tape”, don`t sprinkle so many sugar

Because, it`s only make the “tape” was bland, because the ratio of the yeast and sugar which put into glutinous, must agree with the portions. The comparison between the glutinous rice, sugar, and the yeast are 1 : 2 : 4. If the glutinous rice 1 kg, so the sugar are 2 tablespoons and the yeast are 4 seed.
